From the Training Team

Youth Opportunities welcomes and celebrates the development of two new partnerships with schools in the Northern Region. After a 10 year break, Youth Opportunities has now re-engaged with   Paralowie R-12 School, delivering two successful programs in Term 2 and will see out the year with a further two programs throughout Terms 3 and 4.

Our second new found partnership has taken the Youth Opportunities team further north with the implementation of the personal leadership program at Gawler District College B-12. Term 2 seen the delivery of the school’s first Youth Opportunities program and has committed to programs being delivered in Terms 3 and 4.

It has been an enjoyable experience working with the dedicated and passionate staff at both schools and a pleasure to be a part of the school’s culture and pro-active approach to student wellbeing, personal development and growth. These partnerships have provided the opportunity for a further, 126 young people to access the program and join over 10,000 current program graduates in their journey of personal leadership.

The Youth Opportunities also introduces 3 new members of the training services team. With the expansion of new programs this year we welcomed Shelley, Courtney and Nate to the team. All three have hit the ground running working closely with our current trainers and students.

As our team prepare for Term 2 graduations, we get ready to celebrate the hard work and growth of 200 graduates.
