What to expect from a young person doing the program
The Personal Leadership Program is a one day per week, 60 hour training Program that helps young people develop skills in areas not typically part of their schooling but that are crucially important to life. Over a 10 week period the Program addresses a range of topics such as communication, confidence, creating positive relationships, motivation and goal planning long term and short term goals.
Each student determines the skills and areas they want to improve on during the Program
Through 1 on 1 coaching our trainers are able to tailor the Program to meet the specific needs of the individual and ensure challenges and activities are relevant to their goals. This means the journey and outcomes are different for each student. Some personal development changes are immediate whilst others are not so evident short term and are about developing habits and plans to achieve larger goals in the long term.
