Reflecting on the past 10 years of impacting lives in South Australia, this year’s theme was a celebration of our state. From the natives in the theming and the produce in the delicious menu catered by Out in the Paddock through to the curated auctions, the day showcased all our state has to offer.
Our guests were lucky to hear from inspiring student speakers and Youth Opportunities Program Graduates, Taylor and Kim. “Before Youth Opportunities, none of my classmates would really speak to each other. Each one of us removed ourselves from that small bubble and gained an enormous amount of confidence to the point where half of the people that I graduated Youth Opportunities with, applied for jobs and actually succeeded and got those jobs”, reflected Taylor.
To the entire Stars in the Garden community, your collective efforts and generosity have created a ripple effect of positive impact, reaching far and wide across South Australia. . Thanks to your support, we’re able to make a real difference in schools and communities, empowering young people in lasting ways. This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s what enables us to keep delivering essential programs to hundreds of young people annually. We’re so grateful for each and every one of you for helping us make this possible.
