Peter is a successful businessperson, author and entrepreneur, who has owned a number of well-known businesses in South Australia. But to us, Peter is primarily the founder of Youth Opportunities and creator of the Personal Leadership Program. Peter became a social entrepreneur with the aim of making a positive difference in the lives of others. He has also run his own consulting and training businesses specialising in cultural change and performance improvement.

Peter believes so strongly in the difference that Personal Leadership makes to young people and it is his kind, generous and passionate belief that has enabled YO to change so many lives.

Peter’s work with Youth Opportunities has seen him recognised both on a state and national level including being awarded an OAM, and winning the 2007 Rotary Paul Farris Fellow award and the 2010 South Australian of the Year Award in the community sector.

More recently, Peter was recognised as the 2017 EY Social Entrepreneur of the Year in the Australian Central Region. Awarded for the establishment of a sustainable independent charitable organisation providing high quality training to benefit schools in low socio-economic areas of SA.
