Tumby Bay District Community Bank Branch have been incredible advocates of our Personal Leadership Program in their community for the last three years. Their most recent grant of $2,000 is directly supporting students completing the Personal Leadership program at Tumby Bay Area School, positively impacting the students, their families and the wider community.
We recently talked to Judy Arbery, Tumby Bay District Community Bank Branch Manager, about why they choose to invest in young South Australians in their community.
“We’ve been really keen to get behind this program as we know the impact has been significant on the students and their families.
We had the opportunity to attend a Personal Leadership Program Graduation at Tumby Bay Area School, where we could witness firsthand the incredibly personal journeys the students have undertaken over the ten-week program. The impact has extended to their relationships with their parents, peers, and also their teachers. The growth in their self-awareness and self-esteem has been obvious, and we admire their courage to share their story in front of a room full of people.
We believe the impact of this program is life-changing and will have a long-term benefit”
We thank the Tumby Bay District Community Bank Branch for their generosity and, for their belief in young South Australians in their community.
