TransformARTive is back for 2019 and we’re thrilled to announce this year’s canvas for our artists and personalities is none other than a limited-edition retro glass Coca-Cola bottle. Not only that, but our venue will be none other than the glorious Garden of Unearthly Delights at this year’s Adelaide Fringe, the biggest and best festival in Australia.
Artists, along with a variety of celebs – including world-famous Hans, from America’s Got Talent, and one of Australia’s leading performers, Kate Cebrano – are turning iconic 1.25L Coca-Cola bottles into one-of-a-kind works of art to be showcased for the month-long Fringe in an iconic custom-made space within the Garden, launching February 19.
South Australian artists, including Emma Hack, will transform limited edition Coca-Cola bottles into unique pieces of art, which will be auctioned via an online silent auction allowing bidders across the country and the globe to pick up some original SA art. Also, up to 10 pieces will be auctioned live at the exhibition on Thursday March 14 (more information can be found here). The exhibition’s theme reflects the transformation young people undergo when they are involved in a Youth Opportunities program.
We would love to come down to the Garden to checkout some of the amazing art on display at TransformARTive!
